Driverless car plans hits snag

Driverless car technology has hit a snag. Testing vehicles round the clock is not enough to teach artificial intelligence how to drive, so software developers are using video driving games to simulate dangerous situations. These can run time and time again to test reactions and at such a pace it’s equivalent to driving 3 million miles a day.

 

Fraud battle is not letting up

And the battle against insurance fraud continues with a Preston gang sentenced to a total of 13 ½ years for defrauding £426,000 in a medical and car hire insurance claim scam. It was a first of its type as most of those sentenced worked for solicitors or car hire firms.
